What is Class Care Driver APP

The Class Care Driver APP is designed for school bus drivers. When they begin their bus route, they select the specific route they’ll be driving and start the app. The app then displays all the designated pickup locations for students along that route, helping drivers navigate efficiently.

Simultaneously, there’s another mobile app for parents. Through this app, parents can track the progress of the bus in real-time. They receive notifications when the bus starts its journey and when it’s nearing their child’s pickup location.

Who can use it.

The Class Care Driver APP is intended for use by school bus drivers. Its purpose is to aid parents in tracking the school bus for the safety and security of their children.

Which are the permissions we are taking from drivers and why?

Location permissions:

The ClassCare Driver application requires access to background location to provide continuous school bus tracking while a trip is active.
Background location is used only for the following purposes:

1. Providing real-time school bus tracking.
2. Allowing parents and school administrators to monitor the current location of the bus.
3. Triggering geofencing notifications when the bus enters or exits predefined locations.
4. Improving the safety and reliability of student transportation.

The application does not use background location for advertising, analytics, or marketing purposes.
Background location is collected only while a driver is actively performing transportation duties or when trip tracking is enabled.
